Who are these groups for?
Beginners are welcome! You do not need any prior knowledge of any of the topics. Just a little bit of curiosity is all that is needed.
We offer a range of groups for people of all ages and backgrounds, including parents, educators, professionals, children, organizations and more!
We strive to be inclusive of people of all identities, especially those who have marginalized/historically excluded identities.

Is this like therapy?
Although a few of our staff are therapists, these courses are not intended to take the place of therapy. If you are needing support beyond the teaching and coaching that is offered, please reach out to us and we are happy to refer you to therapists who can offer you more direct and clinical support.
What are kids groups like?
All Kids, no matter their identities, upbringings, and behaviors are AMAZING! A guiding lens that our organization holds is that ALL kids are wonderfully unique. Every person, including kids, contains multitudes and complexity. There are no "bad" feelings or parts of a child. We know that behavior is a form of communication, and it is our job to support children and their community in addressing root needs and supporting all forms of success. Kids groups are designed with this lens at the center.
No matter the group's primary focus, kids also learn about their own social emotional wellness and being in community. In addition to presented educational content, our group facilitators will be modeling and scaffolding social emotional learning tools.
We strive to offer meaningful experiences for kids. This means that our facilitators work to build a healthy relationship with YOUR child. Meeting them where they are and supporting their unique needs and interests through the focus of the group.
Children & teens get to explore. Children of all ages are curious. Throughout childhood they are building understanding around both literal aspects of being a human (things like how to tie shoes, reading, and physics) as well as wrestling with the less tangible aspects, including things like identity, and existential topics. We value curiosity.
What are groups like for adults?
Get support from experts! Our group facilitators are professionals in their respective fields. Each attendee is also an expert in their own way as well. Expertise from lived experience is deeply valued here. No matter the specific format or focus of the group, you will have experts supporting you.
Our groups are a place for you to meet people who have both shared and different experiences and perspectives from you. During facilitated discussions you have the opportunity to connect over a topic that interests you all and you get to explore the commonalities and differences you all have.
Come as you are. Showing up to gatherings, relationships and challenges "as we are" (rough day? you don't have to paste on a smile, that is unless you want to.) allows us to both build self trust, and to connect with others.
