Our clients love us

“Michele is a very knowledgeable, calm, and thoughtful educator. Taking a parenting workshop with her was really helpful. As a parent, teacher, and leader, she was able to listen and understand challenges and questions we had and provide relevant guidance and examples. It is very clear she has a breadth of knowledge from her own education and experience that she is able to verbalize and share with others."

“I have had the privilege of working with, and learning from, Michele over the past five years. She is a compassionate and knowledgeable leader in her field. I consider her a mentor and invaluable resource in my work with children.”
-JS
“I have enjoyed all of the trainings I have taken from Christy. She is very clear and knowledgeable. I love how she opens up room to hear the class and elaborate on any questions asked.”

Tandem Learning Values Multiple Lenses

NEURODIVERSITY AFFIRMING
It is important to us that brains of all kinds are welcome here.  Whether you identify as having ADHD, giftedness, anxiety, dyslexia, autism or any other neurodivergent quality or diagnosis, we hope to meet you in your learning style.  Please let us know if there is anything we are missing.
PRO SOCIAL JUSTICE
To truly learn to be socially and emotionally aware we also need to evaluate and change the biases and inequities ingrained in our society.  As three white women, we are aware we have blind spots.  We are committed to working (often imperfectly) towards building a more just world.
TRAUMA INFORMED
We know that talking about our feelings can bring up old wounds and we aim to present content in ways that recognize potential areas of trauma.

We can also support you in getting access to more therapeutic help should that need arise.

Words I live by

"Diversity is about all of us and about us having to figure out how to walk through this world together."

~ Jacqueline Woodson
